Do you deliver outside of Port Elizabeth?At the moment we don't deliver outside of Port Elizabeth. However, the Buttercup Bakery brand has a footprint in the Border and Garden Route and we would consider partnering with a courier company to deliver to these areas. Will you deliver during the COVID-19 lock down period?Yes we will. Buttercup Bakery has been deemed an essential service and has received it's permit to operate from the CIPC. We have a robust Food Safety system and our staff comply with the requirements stipulated by the World Health Organization and followed by the South African Department of Health. Our driver will follow the "no contact" delivery rule. They will be equipped with protective face masks and will sanitize their hands before and after the delivery to you.

Do you deliver every day?No. We deliver on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The earliest your products can be delivered will be as follows: Orders placed on a Monday and Tuesday will be delivered on Thursday. Orders placed on a Wednesay will be delivered on a Friday. Orders placed on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be delivered on a Tuesday. Items are produced to order which is the reason for the 48hour lead time. This ensures that only the freshest items are delivered to you. However, you are more than welcome to request another date for delivery (other than a Monday & Wednesday as our drivers are very busy with our wholesale customers on those days).

How do I pay for my online order?You have a number of options available to you. Orders to be delivered: Manual Payment: You may make an EFT payment and send us proof of payment to olivia@buttercupbakerysa.com Manual Payment (Offline Payment): You may make an offline payment using a debit/credit card using the YOCO link provided (https://pay.yoco.com/buttercup-bakery) Online Payment: You may make an online payment using any major credit or debit card Note: orders to be delivered need to be paid in full before the order will be released into production Orders to be collected COD Payment made in store, either cash or credit/debit card Online Payment: You may make an online payment using any major credit or debit card

Do you have a minimum amount I need to spend to get my delivery?No. We have a Delivery Fee which will cover the cost of the transport so there is no minimum quantity or minimum value to your order.

Do you produce gluten free products?Unfortunately, we are unable to as every item we bake comprises either Wheat Flour, Rye Flour or a combination thereof. In order to provide a 100% gluten free product (that is safe to eat by those with a severe/life threatening gluten allergy) we would need to produce in a completely separate facility.

How do I apply a coupon code?Coupon codes can be redeemed by applying the code on the order review screen. Once the coupon is applied, the value of the coupon will be deducted from the full order value and that will reflect immediately.

How do I add / remove a credit card?Once you have logged in, use the drop down menu next to your profile picture to access the Members Section. Select My Wallet You will have the option of saving your card details after your first purchase.

What do you charge to deliver?There are two delivery options: Newton Park Delivery - this is free of charge to any place in the Newton Park suburb Standard Delivery - R30 - to all areas within Port Elizabeth, excluding Newton Park Note: Orders over the value of R500.00 will be delivered free of charge.

How do I remove and item from my cart?To remove an item from your cart, click the X next to it when you review your order.

Can I choose what time you deliver?At the moment we do not have a dedicated delivery service for the Online Store. Orders will be delivered between 10h00 and 16h00 on the specified delivery days.

How do I add / edit a delivery address?Once you have logged in, use the drop down menu next to your profile picture to access the Members Section. Select My Addresses You will be able to Add, Edit and Remove an address here, as well as select your Default Address for future deliveries.

How do I place an order if I don't want to register on the website?Select the Shop menu tab Scroll down to look for the products you would like to order Hover your mouse over the picture Select "Quick View" Under "Quantity", add the number you would like to order, or use the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the amount Select Add to Cart If you want to continue shopping, click on the back button (>) at the top of the screen in the black Cart box When you're done, select View Cart Select the delivery type - use the drop down menu button on the right hand side of the screen, just above your order total Select Check Out Enter your details Select Continue Select your payment method Select Continue Select Place Order You will receive and email confirming your order
